In short
Enter your position, stack and hand, or paste the hand history, and the checker tells you what the solved push/fold chart does with that hand: shove, call or fold, and how often. A7o on the button at 11bb in 6-max is a shove every time.
Charts are chip-EV push/fold solves: no ICM, everyone else folded to the shove, and a standard ante. Near a bubble or a pay jump, check the spot with the ICM calculator too.
Common questions
- What spots can it check?
- Preflop all-ins up to 30 big blinds or so: folded to you and you shove or fold, or one player shoves and you call or fold. It doesn't check limped pots, raises that weren't all in, or anything after the flop.
- Where do the answers come from?
- From our solved chip-EV push/fold charts for 6-max and 9-max, the same ones in the push/fold calculator. They assume everyone else plays the chart too.
- What if my stack isn't exactly on a chart?
- The checker uses the nearest solved depth and tells you which one, so you know when the answer is for 12bb and you had 12.4bb.
- What does 'close' mean?
- The chart plays the hand both ways, so neither choice is a real mistake. Spots like that are worth very little either way.
- Is my hand history sent anywhere?
- No. It's read in your browser, and only the spot it finds (table size, positions, stack and hand) is used to look up the chart.
